Temporary traffic signals on Herbert Avenue after water leak

First published in News by

TEMPORARY traffic signals have been installed in Herbert Avenue, Poole following a water leak this afternoon.

Borough of Poole has put up the signals to control traffic on the busy road outside Tops Day Nursery.

The council says the signals will be in place for the rest of the afternoon and is urging motorists to allow extra time for their journey home.

Both water companies are involved, with Wessex Water needing to remove a venting column before Sembcorp Bournemouth Water can repair the mains freshwater leak.

Repairs are likely to take a couple of days.

Peroni says...

If they dig up enough of the road ,let's have it newly relaid along the whole length.
Bad materials or workmanship from the last and previous re surfacing work.
Need a 4x4 to travel on the shoddy roads and they are the most penalised by the road tax lol.
