TWO dogs have been rescued from a house fire at a property in Boscombe this afternoon.
The pets were carried out by firefighters following the blaze at a ground floor flat in The Crescent.
Crews from Springbourne and Westbourne used one hose and two sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the flames.
A spokesperson from the Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said crews left the scene at 2.55pm.
He added: "The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
"The owner of the property was out at the time the fire began in the kitchen area."
There was smoke damage to the flat.
