A CARING Bournemouth student is raising funds for a life-changing trip to Nepal.

Natalie Bray, 21, is in the second year of an Adult Nursing degree at Bournemouth University, and will be taking part in a challenge to help renovate a local school in Nepal in April.

She will spend two weeks participating in the building, painting and other construction tasks to renovate the secondary school, camping in the school grounds, getting involved with the local community and making a huge difference to the children’s lives and education.

Natalie, who lives in Charminster, said: “I have been keen to get involved with something which would challenge me and make a difference to others.

“I believe this will be an amazing experience to help others and will give me a taste of the lifestyle and cultures in less developed countries of the world.”

Natalie needs to raise £1,680 for her trip to help fund materials and equipment.

She is currently taking part in sponsorship events such as cake sales, raffles and bag packing in Asda and seeking donations.

She will also be doing a three-legged, eight mile walk at the end of the month, with three friends who are also taking part in the trip.
