UKIP has opened an office in Christchurch.
The party says it is targeting Dorset, where it expects to win vulnerable seats from the Conservatives and Lib Dems. The office in Bargates, opposite the British Legion, went fully operational this week.
The Prospective Parliamentary candidate Robin Grey is supported by volunteers who man the office daily from 10am to 4pm.
Robin said: “Our headquarters is a huge asset and we have made an impact on local affairs, by getting behind the campaign to save the trees and hall in Druitt’s Gardens and causing the county council to think again about cutting bus services serving pensioners.”
