BOROUGH of Poole officials will go to court next week to seek eviction orders against eight traveller caravans that remain at Creekmoor's park & ride site.
Direction orders were served on the encampment on Thursday after 10 caravans left the site the previous day.
Yesterday a council spokesman confirmed with the Daily Echo that if the remaining travellers failed to leave in the next few days, the borough would be seeking an eviction order.
The spokesman also said: “Skips and toilets are still in place. Once possession has been regained we will repair the damage to the boundary and re-secure the site.”
Meanwhile, the legal process is also underway to remove four traveller caravans from Poole's Sterte Esplanade.
