A MAN being hunted by police in connection with an alleged stabbing at a holiday park in St Leonards has been found by police.
Charlie Casey, aged 22, left open prison HMP Sudbury at the end of April, according to police, and was wanted on suspicion of assaulting a 24-year-old woman from Wales at Oakdene Forest Park on Wednesday, May 21.
In May police warned members of the public not to approach Casey if they saw him.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police confirmed he had been found in Wexham, Berkshire, by Thames Valley Police on Wednesday.
She added: “He will be returned into custody with the prison service.
“Dorset Police have technically bailed him for the assault until mid- September pending further police inquiries.”
