Police were called in to help search for a missing girl aged three and a half in Bournemouth's Lower Gardens.

The alarm was raised by the family just after 4pm.

Police, council staff and members of the public were involved in the search of the packed gardens and beach front. The girl was found by the pier about twenty minutes later.

Thank god she was found. It's not safe to take your eyes off a child for even a second with all these peadophiles let loose in society.

Why we cannot just use the b@stards for testing of drug trials instead of the poor innocent animals I'll never know. My children's have no freedom because of these evil scumbags

I child wandered off and got separated from her parents. After a quick search, she was found safe and well. It happens everyday down on the beach and never makes the papers. So you might want to save your rant about peadophiles etc for when there is one involved. Of course your children have freedom. They need to be educated about the dangers, and what to do if approached by a stranger. Even I can remember my parents teaching me the same things. Perverts have been around for years, it's not a modern thing.

Maybe the Parents should keep their eyes on a three year old, it doesn't take much to get them to wander these days.

Can happen to anyone i wandered off as a child i was 2 that was 1956, frantic parents, found not far from my home. It happens im glad that all is well in this case the thing that would worry me most these days is if the child wandered near the road.

I have a 4 year old and a 6 year old I'd like to see you "keep your eyes on them" it's not that easy they literally disappear as you turn around everyone who has a child has lost them at some point!
