There are also some events tomorrow as part of the commemorations of the start of World War One, the 100th anniversary of which is on Monday.

Tomorrow, there is an event at Winton and Moordown RBL Club from 12.30pm.

Later, Poole holds a civic service ar St James Church, Poole Quay, from 4pm. From 5pm, a parade will leave the church and head to the Guildhall.

You can pick up a special commemorative edition of the Daily Echo on Monday, featuring coverage of the above events and much more.

There are events tomorrow too, including:

- The Annual Mudeford RNLI fun day at Mudeford Quay, which has stalls and activities from 10am, a raft race at 1pm and a performance from The Blades aerobatic display team at 4pm.

- From 10am, Happy Dogs at Christchurch Road, outside Ringwood, is holding a fun day to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

- There's also a dog show and family fun day at Margaret Green Animal Rescue Sanctuary in Church Knowle, near Wareham, from 11am to 4pm.

The roads are getting busier - we have reports of heavy traffic on the A31 at the usual slow points - Cadnam, Ferndown and Wimborne.

In Bournemouth, the Thai Summer Festival takes place at Kings Park.

It was opened by the mayor and the Thai ambassador at 10am and runs until 6pm and is also on tomorrow, when Thai singer Candy Rakgan will be performing.

There will be food and performances all weekend.

It's also the Poole Town Regatta today, running until 5pm. There will be racing with teams from 12 clubs.

The action takes place on a course off of Hamworthy Park.

At St Giles Park, Wimborne St Giles, it's the fourth annual Dorset Chilli Festival.

There will be chilli-eating competitions, stalls, talks and more.

It runs today and tomorrow.

At Upton Country Park, Poole, it's the sixth annual Poole Town and Country Fair.

It was due to be opened by the mayor, Cllr Peter Adams, and will feature falconry, ponies, the Purbeck Gun Dogs Display Team, ferrett racing, a children's farm, a Medieval village and fighting knights.

There's also goat-milking and cheese making, music, a dog show and more.

It's running until 5pm today and also runs tomorrow.

At Merryfield Park, Sopley, there will be a fundraising day for Wessex Cancer Trust.

Attractions include emergency service vehicles, rides and demos.

One of the big events today is Stompin on the Quomps, the annual jazz festival. It's being held on Christchurch Quay and there will be music workshops as well.
