Residents left without TV and broadband access after lorry crashes into box

First published in News

A HANDFUL of Virgin Media customers lost their TV and broadband for several hours after an articulated lorry smashed into a junction box in Old Town Poole.

The heavy vehicle smashed the green box close to the mini-roundabout on Lagland Street, lifting it almost out of the ground and ploughing it into a fence at around 7am this morning.

The accident cut connections to about 10 households, according to a Virgin Media spokesman.

Engineers were on site that morning and everyone had their services reconnected by 1pm.

The box was rebuilt later the same day.

Police were informed of the accident but did not attend.

Yes I have Virgin super charged up to 100 MB
But at night my streaming films on Internet TV buffer all time .
The service was oversubscribed ,but they never admit that, it's a realy bad service .Might be good in some areas but definitely not in mine .
Kids ripped the door of our cabinet in street ,it was six months for Virgin to replace it. So for them to come so fast on this occasion was good .
