POLICE are appealing for information after a child was bitten by a dog in Bournemouth.
The incident involved a four-year-old boy who was riding a scooter with his mother through King’s Park when he was attacked on one of his legs by a small black dog, which was not on a lead.
It happened on Friday, June 27, at about 4pm, and the owner of the dog allegedly made no attempt to help the victim or his mother.
The owner is described as a white male, about 5ft 8inches tall, and of stocky build. He was wearing a black t-shirt and black trousers.
Witnesses and anyone with information should contact Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident number 27:310 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
