A MALE pedestrian was taken to Poole Hospital tonight after being injured in a crash involving two cars in Bournemouth.
The man was hurt following the accident at the junction of Alma Road and Heron Court Road in Winton just before 8pm.
Emergency services attended and police closed the busy road for an hour and a half.
The two cars involved were a black Skoda Octavia - registered to a Poole keeper - and a black Vauxhall Astra - registered to a Bournemouth keeper.
A Dorset police spokesperson could not say how serious the injuries were, but said the pedestrian was conscious and breathing at the scene.
