Girl suffered serious head injuries in collision on Monday

A 16-YEAR-OLD girl left fighting for her life after a crash in North Dorset has died.
The accident, involving a Volkswagen Polo being driven by a 20-year-old man from Blandford, happened on the A30 Sherborne Causeway late on Monday night.
The 16-year-old from Shaftesbury suffered serious head injuries.
Police confirmed tonight that she died at Frenchay Hopsital, Bristol, as a result of her injuries.
A spokesman said that her family was being supported by family liasion officers.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the accident and anyone with information to come forward by calling 101 quoting incident number 444:30
