A MEETING has been arranged to discuss the effects of the onshore element of the proposed wind farm for the Dorset coast.
If the Navitus Bay project gets the go-ahead, the cable would run from Taddiford Gap, between Barton and Milford, up to a new substation in West Moors. A public meeting, chaired by Roy Pointer, of the Poole and Christchurch Bays Association, has been arranged for Friday, June 13, at West Parley Memorial Hall, 7pm.
Other speakers will include Margaret Phipps from Hurn Parish Council, John Sharpe, who is an electrical engineer, and it is hoped that Christchurch MP Chris Chope will attend.
