POLICE hunting yobs responsible for a vandalism spree in Wallisdown have released more information to help their investigation.
As reported by the Daily Echo yesterday, a number of cars were targeted in the Canford Avenue area earlier this week.
The man who contacted police after making the discovery – Alan Roberts, of Ensbury Park – said he feared the attacks were “vandalism for its own sake” as nothing was taken.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police has now said three reports of smashed car windows were received – two rear windscreens and a rear driver’s window – in roads nearby.
The first car was targeted in Kinson Road sometime between 10pm on Sunday, May 11 and 7am on Monday, May 12.
A car window was smashed in St Margaret’s Road sometime between 10.30pm on that Sunday, and 6am on Monday.
The third incident took place on Kingsbere Avenue between Sunday and 8am the following day.
Nothing was taken from any of the vehicles.
The spokesperson said: “Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101, quoting incident number 12:48, 12:51 and 12:56 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
