The A35 was shut in both directions near Slepe as emergency services dealt with a single-vehicle crash this morning.

A black Peugeot 206, registered to a local keeper, was involved in the collision near the Organford crossroads.

Police closed the road at its junctions with the Baker's Arms roundabout, the Organford Crossroads and Morden Park corner due to an oil spillage and the recovery of the vehicle.

The female driver was uninjured, although an ambulance attended. The accident occurred at 7.50am and the road was re-opened at 9.17am.
