A 'daily deal’ website has been relaunched after two-and-a-half years of trading.

Joshua Simons and Steve Crawford, right, who founded Liveelite.co.uk, have launched a rebranded and ‘more functionally advanced’ platform, Elite Living.

They say the site will offer more deals on everything from luxury dining to hair and beauty treatments, as well as exclusive deals on new cars.

More than 65,000 across the Bournemouth and Poole conurbation have joined Live Elite since its inception and around 100,000 vouchers have been sold. The founders say it has generated more than £3m towards the local economy, boosting trade and footfall in off-peak hours.

Steve Crawford said: “We are very proud of what we have achieved with Live Elite over the past few years. We have been fighting global giants Groupon and Living Social head-on and due to our payment terms, quality of data and customer service, we have gained a healthy market share.”

Joshua Simons added: “Live Elite’s platform and technology wasn’t allowing us to deliver the customer journey and experience that we believe is needed when using a service like ours. We are delighted to announce a new tech partnership with local firm, Elms Creative, who are delivering a platform that we can be proud of, and that our customers deserve. We now believe we can compete with the national and global deal sites when it comes to tech, which is a very exciting prospect for the new business. We used this opportunity to rebrand too, owing partly to the constant mispronunciation of the previous name!”
