Man charged after six-car police pursuit through Bournemouth

A MAN has been charged with dangerous driving following a 30-minute night time police chase in Bournemouth.

Conor Bartlett-Clark, 21, has been charged with dangerous driving, driving without insurance and driving otherwise in accordance with his driving licence.

Christopher Bartlett-Clark, 23, has also been charged with aiding and abetting the use of a motor vehicle without insurance.

Both men, who are from the local area, have been released on bail and are due to appear at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on August 28.

In the early hours of Monday, August 11, police pursued a blue Citroen Saxo for around half an hour after it failed to stop at 2.45am in Castle Lane.

Witnesses reported six or seven police cars following the vehicle.

The chase finally came to end in Gresham Road in Winton where two people were arrested.
