A meeting will be held tonight for residents to tell Martyn Underhill about Boscombe crime and policing issues.

The session is intended to give people from all over Bournemouth the chance to put their concerns directly to the Police and Crime Commissioner.

Issues expected to be raised at the meeting include calls to 101, anti-social behaviour, shoplifting, criminal damage and substance abuse.

Mt Underhill said: “I want to work with local people directly on issues concerning community safety, crime and policing. It is important that we all meet in person, to identify the key issues in the area and then work together to solve them.

"Although the forum is being held in Boscombe, we want to hear the views of people from across Bournemouth and its surrounding areas”.

“Whilst Boscombe is a challenging area, reported crime is going down. The chief constable, myself and partners are working hard to reduce crime in the area and I look forward to hearing the views of residents.”

The public meeting will take place in Boscombe at the Friends Meeting House at 7pm.

The PCC's office will be live tweeting from @PCCDorset. If you want to get involved you can use the hashtag #askmartyn.

Could someone who has followed the story about him please tell me if he ever admitted to who his backers were for the 'election' as he said he would tell after the election.
