Police called to accident at Sainsbury's Poole

POLICE and an ambulance were called to Pitwines Close in Poole town centre at lunchtime after an accident involving a car and a pedestrian.

It took place just before 1.30pm on the road leading to the car park at the rear of the Sainsbury's store.

The vehicle involved was a purple Citroen Xsara Picasso registered to a man from Poole. The incident is ongoing and it is not yet known if anyone involved suffered any injuries.
