DORSET police has unveiled its latest weapon in the fight against rural crime.
The police tractor will be used to promote crime prevention tactics at events across the county.
It has already been displayed at a national Home Watch event and will be used throughout the summer.
The tractor has been donated by Zetor UK and will help officers to spread the word about how to keep properties and businesses safe.
Inspector Les Fry said: “Dorset Police is very grateful to Zetor UK. The tractor is a significant asset to the Force’s priorities in supporting Neighbourhood Policing in rural areas of Dorset.
“We want members of the public to know that while Dorset has some of the lowest figures for rural crime, it does still happen and we are committed to making people aware of the measures they can take to keep their properties and businesses safe.”
