A MISSION in and around Poole gave the Bishop of Sherborne, the Rt Rev Graham Kings, the opportunity to meet youngsters at Hamworthy.
He took part in a Pentecost Parade service at St Michael’s Church during a packed four days in and around the town.
His mission included a debate at Custom House on the quay on the subject of whether Britain is a Christian country, a pub discussion group on Heaven and hell and a visit to Carter Community School. He attended a school assembly, lessons and a grill-a-bishop session with pupils.
The Bishop’s visit concluded with a baptism service.
