POLICE have seized thousands of pounds of ill-gotten money from two convicted drug dealers in Bournemouth and Poole.

Luke James Andrews, 22, previously of Bournemouth, was given a four year prison sentence in 2013 after being found guilty of cannabis possession with intent to supply and possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

The offences related to a search warrant which was carried out in Argyll Road, Bournemouth, in July 2012.

Officers discovered a large quantity of herbal cannabis, cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia.

Similar items were also seized from a vehicle and from Andrews’ home address.

In total, 3.9kg of cannabis and 158.89g of cocaine were seized with a street value of £27,099. A confiscation order for £28,604 was secured against Andrews by Dorset Police on June 6.

Daniel Bagwell, 32, of Poole, was also sentenced to four years’ imprisonment for possession with intent to supply class A drugs and money laundering.

Police found drugs and a large amount of cash when they searched Bagwell’s home in August last year.

A confiscation order totalling £21,270.97 was made against Bagwell at Bournemouth Crown Court on June 9.
