A POOLE man who suffered facial injuries "may have been hit with a bottle", police say.
The 23-year-old was in Yates Wine Bar in Dean Park Crescent, Bournemouth, at around 1.30am on Wednesday, June 4, when the attack took place.
He was left with a laceration to his head and suspected fractured eye socket, and taken to hospital for treatment.
Detective Constable Katie Savill, of Bournemouth CID, said: “It is not clear how the victim sustained his injuries but it is believed that he may have been hit with a bottle.
“I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident in the bar to establish what exactly happened."
