Former editor of The Sun paid a quick visit to Bournemouth as the guest of MP Conor Burns.
Kelvin Mackenzie, famous for some of the most memorable headlines of the 80s, addressed a dinner of Bournemouth West Conservative Association held at the Norfolk Royale Hotel.
He talked on the current political situation, media issues including phone hacking and Leveson and he recounted some anecdotes from his time as an editor.
Mr Burns, MP for Bournemouth West, is a member of the Commons culture, media and sport select committee.
