One Direction heart-throb Zayn Malik has bought a house in Dorset.

Even though the exact location of the house has not been confirmed, a source close to the family confirmed to the Echo that the house had been bought by Zayn in the county, but would not confirm who the house was bought for.

The Echo understands that the house was bought by Zayn for his fiancee Perrie Edwards' mother, Debbie.

The house is estimated to have cost the pop star close to £250,000 and the family are decorating the new house and moving the furniture in.

Due to their hectic touring schedules and other work commitments, the lovebirds do not get to spend too much quality time with each other but after this latest acquisition the loved-up popstars will now probably spend more of their free time in Dorset.

The celebrity couple are known to enjoy spending time in Dorset, and especially Perrie’s hometown of Weymouth.

Perrie, whose band Little Mix shot to fame after winning The X Factor in 2011, lived in Weymouth as a youngster and still has family in the area.

The couple celebrated New Year’s Eve in the town and were spotted at the Wyke Smugglers Pub enjoying a meal.

Zayn has had two tattoos by Weymouth tattoo artist Paul O’Connor, one at the turn of the year on his arm, and the other, a wolf and feather design, on his lower left leg.

Tara Gordon, from Tattoo Magic in Weymouth, said: “It’s great news he has bought a house. Paul said he was a really nice guy, and Zayn did say that he would be coming back here to get another tattoo in the near future.

“Hopefully it’s good news for us and he will come in here for some tattoos, and hopefully he brings Harry Styles down with him as well.”
