A WEDDING photographer ordered to pay compensation and return pictures to a newly married couple has won the right to appeal.
As reported by the Echo in February, John Paine, of Special Occasions in Ashley Cross, was ordered to pay Bianca and Chris Hanley £1,450 compensation, £260.50 legal costs and to hand over a disc containing the photos of their wedding. He was also refused the right to appeal.
However, at a personal oral hearing at Winchester County Court on April 9, a judge ordered that an appeal should be granted. Paine was hired for the pair’s wedding on June 8, 2012, and they say they never received their wedding album.
The appeal will be heard at Bournemouth County Court on September 12.
