ENVIRONMENT and economy spokesman Hilary Cox has left Dorset County Council’s cabinet after 13 years, as part of the latest County Hall reshuffle.
Cllr Cox, whose responsibilities included highways, public transport and economic development, will be replaced by Cllr Peter Finney.
However, she will continue to serve as a councillor representing the Winterbourne division.
Cllr Finney has been a cabinet member for community and public health since last May. This responsibility will now be taken on by Cllr Colin Jamieson.
The other cabinet positions remain unchanged. Cllr John Wilson was reappointed council chairman, while Cllr Andrew Cattaway continues as vice chairman.
