A WOMAN has been dragged off her bike and robbed at knifepoint in Bournemouth.

During the incident, which took place at around 9pm on Sunday, April 13, the 33-year-old victim was attacked while cycling close to the subway along Lowther Gardens in the direction of Charminster.

She was stopped by a woman asking for the time, but after braking, was pulled to the ground by two men.

One held a knife to her ear while the second searched her and stole her mobile phone, keys and cash.

The female offender is described as white, of skinny build with light brown hair tied up behind her head with a fringe swept across her forehead. She was wearing a knee length black coat.

The first man is described as black, five feet five inches tall of medium build. He was wearing a black beanie hat.

The second man was white, five feet seven inches tall of skinny build and was also wearing a black beanie hat. He had a distinctive high pitched voice.

The victim sustained a minor facial injury during the attack.

Detective Constable Sara Johnson, of Bournemouth CID, said:  “I am keen to speak to anyone who may have seen this incident but may not have been aware that a robbery was taking place.

“I urge witnesses and anyone with information to come forward as soon as possible.

“All calls are treated with the strictest confidence.”
