'Multiple casualties' taken to hospital after two-car smash
A NUMBER of people have been taken to hospital this evening following a two-car smash in Southbourne.
The emergency services were called to Beresford Road shortly before 6pm after the crash, which involved a black Volkswagen Passat and a silver Peugeot 206 estate, both registered to local keepers.
A police spokesperson confirmed that "multiple casualties" had been taken to Poole General Hospital.
However, she added: "Those involved are not thought to have suffered life-threatening or life-changing injuries."
