A SAFE and secure community feedback box has been launched to give Springbourne residents an alternative way of sharing their concerns.

Residents with any information or questions for Dorset Police or Bournemouth council can now fill in a feedback form and drop it into the box in Springbourne library.

The idea is to give residents a free and easy way of voicing their concerns on anything from anti-social behaviour to parking problems.

Neighbourhood warden Dave Hamilton, pictured with Sgt Colin Neve, said: “It can be used to report anything you think the police or the council need to know about. If it’s successful we are hoping to eventually put a telephone in there so people can call the police or council.”

Residents are also reminded they can call a neighbourhood warden directly on 01202 395512 or can dial 101 for more immediate police attention or 999 in an emergency.
