FIREFIGHTERS and police were called to Highcliffe after a car flipped onto its side on Saturday.

Crews from New Milton were sent to the scene in Walkford after reports the driver was trapped around 1.15pm.

When they arrived, everyone was out of the car and no assistance from the fire crews was required.

PC Andy Morton from Christchurch police, who attended the scene, said three people in the car were uninjured and managed to get out of the vehicle.

“It could have been a lot worse”, he said, “It’s lucky no-one was on the pavement.”

The car was left to be recovered.

It was the third traffic incident in the borough to happen within 30minutes of two other crashes near Christchurch town centre.
