A TEENAGE pedestrian has been taken to hospital this morning after a collision with a car in Bournemouth.
The emergency services were called to Charminster Avenue at 8.12am, a police spokesman said.
The boy was taken to Poole Hospital with a head injury, which police later said was classed as 'minor'.
The car involved was a VW up!, registered to a company from Watford.
The road was closed while police and ambulance crews dealt with the incident.
It was reopened at 8.50am.
