LAW firm Steele Raymond LLP has started the year with two new appointments.
Julie-Ann Harris, is the new head of its family team, joining as a partner, with many years’ experience at other south coast law firms behind her.
She is an accredited specialist with Resolution, the independent body representing family lawyers and encouraging a non-confrontational approach to family disputes.
She has particular expertise in financial settlements on divorce and complex children cases including proceedings through the High Court and Court of Appeal.
She also centres on the unmarried family, advising on disputes between co-habitants and asset protection.
The company has also appointed Joanna Jackson, as associate in the firm’s commercial property team. She is a commercial property lawyer with a wide range of property experience.
Chris Twaits, head of the commercial property team, said: “Joanna’s appointment further strengthens the resources of the firm’s Commercial Property Team at a time when we are seeing evidence that the commercial property market in Dorset and the surrounding area is becoming increasingly active.”
