RAIL services have been suspended between Bournemouth and Brockenhurst this lunchtime due to a signalling problem at Christchurch.
South West Trains said the problem meant trains were unable to move past signals in both directions.
A replacement bus service has been arranged and will run passengers between Brockenhurst and Bournemouth.
Engineers are now on site and there is no estimate for when normal service may resume,
Earlier today passengers faced delays on services between Weymouth and Bournemouth due to ice on the track at Wareham.
The poor rail conditions meant fewer trains were able to operate and some services were cancelled or terminated short of Weymouth.
Passengers at Wool, Moreton and Upwey were advised to use help points and taxis were arranged to connect with onward journeys.
