In an article in the Daily Echo regarding the CQC report on Royal Bournemouth Hospital on Wednesday December 18th, it was stated that the chief executive of The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Mr Tony Spotswood, had said ‘No need for me to resign’.
We have been asked to point out that Mr Spotswood did not say the words which we attributed to him and we apologise for any misunderstanding.
We are happy to set the record straight.
