POLICE have released an image of a van stolen in Hamworthy just two days before Christmas.
The incident, in which a Mercedes Sprinter – registration number R618 MMR – was stolen, happened between 12.30am and 7.40am on Monday 23 December 2013 on Inglesham Way.
Police Constable Luke Davis, of Poole police, said: “I am releasing an image of this vehicle as it is very distinctive.
"Someone may have witnessed the van after it was last seen at 12.30am and I urge them to contact the police as soon as possible.
“I would also like to hear from witnesses who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time.”
No arrests have been made.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 23:50.
