LOOKING for a Christmas gift?
There is still time to snap up copies of the Daily Echo’s two spectacular pictorial books.
Both titles have been flying off the shelves at local bookshops.
Dorset: A Photographic Journey Through Towns and Villages, sponsored by Brendoncare, features pictures from Daily Echo readers as well as those taken by our award-winning team of staff photographers.
The book runs to 176 pages and takes the reader on a tour of the county.
The readers’ pictures were selected through a competition run earlier this year with the help of Castle Cameras.
And for the tens of thousands of people who enjoyed the fifth successful Bournemouth Air Festival this year, another Echo book is the perfect souvenir. Bournemouth Air Festival: A Celebration of the First Five Years brings together hundreds of pictures of the action in the air, taken between 2008 and 2012.
Toby Granville, group editor of the Daily Echo and Dorset Echo, said: “Both books are great souvenirs and will make excellent Christmas presents. Dorset: A Photographic Journey Through Towns and Villages features fantastic pictures highlighting the beauty of our county and it will make a great addition to those collecting our series of books.”
The Dorset book is priced at £14.95, while the air festival celebration is selling for just £1 more at £15.95.
