Police have Halloween lollies
5:00pm Monday 14th October 2013 in News
POLICE and firefighters in the New Forest will be handing out flashing arm bands and lollies this Halloween in a bid to prevent antisocial behaviour.
Funded by the Safer New Forest Partnership, the Be Safe, Be Seen scheme will also see Hampshire Police produce a ‘No Trick or Treat’ poster for people to print out if they don’t want to be disturbed.
New Forest Chief Inspector Tony Rowlinson said: “Halloween and Bonfire Night should be fun for everyone and not an excuse for anti-social behaviour.
“We want revellers to stay safe and be seen in the dark, enjoy the occasion, and we look forward to chatting with people at local events.”
The fire officers will also be offering fire safety advice.

If concerned about antisocial behaviour, call Hampshire Police on 101.
