The incident on the westbound carriageway, near the Fish Inn, caused long delays of up to an hour on the A31, with 20-mile tailbacks, say Hampshire Police.
There were also delays on the A36 into Salisbury as people diverted as a result of the A31 incident as well as tailbacks on the A338 from Fordingbridge.
Both lanes are now reopen.
One person was injured, although their condition is currrently unknown.
Traffic was at a standstill earlier today, while recovery was arranged for the lorry.
It took place outside the Texaco garage, which was closed briefly this morning.
Ray Turner, who works at the Fish Inn, said traffic was "at a standstill" earlier.
He said: "There is nothing moving at all and there are lots of police and ambulance at the scene.
"It's a regular occurrence up here."
The crash was between a Mark Webster home delivery lorry, a builder's pick-up and a black Seat with rear end damage.
A spokesperson from Mark Webster Designs said: “We haven't been able to speak to the driver yet, so we won't have any further information until we do.”
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police confirmed they had been called to the collision at 7.53am.
Two police cars, an ambulance and a paramedic vehicle were at the scene.
