POLICE have named a young mother-of-three from Fordingbridge who died after being in collision with a car on a busy Hampshire road.
Kayleigh Quinn, 27, of Park Road was killed at the scene of the crash on the A36 at Plaitford near Romsey on Tuesday September 24.
Her family have paid tribute to Kayleigh and said: "She was very spirited and fun loving person. Kayleigh had a very kind and caring nature and was always trying to help others.
“She loved spending time caring for her horses but her greatest love was for her three children.
“They mean the whole world to her. Kayleigh will be greatly missed by her family and friends."
Pedestrian Kayleigh was in collision with a silver Volkswagen Golf heading south at 11.15pm on Tuesday September 24.
The Volkswagen driver, a 45-year-old man from Portsmouth was shaken, but not injured.
He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by driving without due care and attention and was bailed until October 31 pending police inquiries.
The road was closed for around six hours to allow for a full investigation and recovery of the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and anyone with information should contact the Whitchurch roads policing unit on 101 quoting Operation Subdivision.
