Inquest into death of Robert Taylor, killed on A35, to be held next week

AN INQUEST into the death of a Bournemouth man killed when his car collided with a tree will be held on Tuesday.
Robert Taylor, 66, of Sway Gardens, died on Sunday, April 14 after his Ford Focus left the road on the A35 near Morden Park Corner at around 7.45am.
His cause of death was given as multiple injuries due to blunt trauma.
Shortly afterwards, a fire engine travelling to the fatality was involved in a collision with a car being driven by Ally Mullany, the head of St Joseph’s Catholic Combined School in Parkstone.
Mrs Mullany, who was driving in a red Mini with two of her four children, was killed in the crash.
An inquest into the death of the headteacher will be held at a later date.
