HOMELESS charity BCHA is holding The Big Sleep Out for a second year.
The fundraiser is to create awareness for rough sleepers in the area. Participants can only bring what they can carry and tents are banned.
Lorna Trent, from BCHA, said: “This event will enable people to experience a small part of the challenges homeless people face on a day-to-day basis.”
Employees from furniture store BoConcept, in Bournemouth, will join participants to raise as much money as possible.
Faye Simons, contract manager at BoConcept, said: “We hope to raise more money to ensure that more people are helped off the streets and are given the same chances as everyone else.”
The fundraiser will take place in the car park of BCHA’s Head Office in Bournemouth between 10pm and 6am on the September 6.
